How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Everything has been going well. Learning and getting better every game. As a team, we have been in some tough games, but I feel it is only preparing us for a great playoff run.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I am very pleased with how I have been playing. I worked hard during the offseason, and it is paying off. Also, there is always room to get better and I continue to watch film and train to improve my game to be the best for my team.”
How do you feel your team has played? I love my team.
“We have been in some non-region dog fights. We are competing, which is what you want from the guy lining up beside you. We will be there in the end. I have no doubt about that.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We have not capitalized on all the opportunities presented to us in games. We must seize the big moments when presented to us and play mistake-free football.”
What are the keys to your team being successful going forward?
“Consistency. We must play consistent and mistake-free football from game to game.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I do want to continue playing in college. I also play baseball and basketball, with football and baseball being 1 and 1A. It would be great if I could play football and baseball on the college level, but we will see how it works out.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had contact with a few schools in Division 1 and 2. East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Valdosta State, Anderson University, UAB, Wooster College Western Carolina, Central Michigan, Xavier USC upstate, Butler. These are football and baseball.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“They are probably equal. Showing interest, no offers yet.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I have been to game day trips at GA Tech, Valdosta State, and Georgia. I hope to get more game invites soon. Georgia Tech has been my best game-day visit.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, Georgia I come from a Georgia household. My dad grew up in Athens and my mom is a UGA graduate.”
