How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Our season has been going well. We are 2-0. We had started the season with a scrimmage versus a really great Colquitt County defense and then a hard-fought victory versus a really good team in Carver Columbus. Definitely got our attention. We have a lot of talented players on our team and that being our first game confirmed we are going to get everyone's best effort when they play us, so we have to bring our "A" game. No plays off.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I would say I am pleased with my performance but not satisfied. I've continued to improve my operation of the offense and implemented my correction cards. I had a 2 passing touchdown performance verse Carver and in one half of play I had a 5 passing touchdown performance verse Jackson. However, I am definitely working on improving my execution. I owe it to my teammates. The receivers are giving it their all, they deserve the perfect pass. The blockers are putting their bodies on the line, they deserve a successful play.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“Our team has been playing well. We have continued to make the corrections our coaches lay out for us. We showed grit on both offense and defense in our comeback win and we showed how we look when we execute in our 64-0 victory.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We have to win 1 play at a time. If we do that we won't have momentum swings or low spots in games. I believe we have the talent and toughness; we have to lock in and play championship football from start to finish.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We have a strong/talented Defense & Offense, the key is to translate that talent onto the field while executing. The offense has to go out onto the field with the relentless intent to score and the defense has to continue to go onto the field with the relentless determination to cause the opposing team to have negative plays. If we make those things happen on both sides of the ball, we will win games and ultimately a State Championship.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Football. I want to perform on the football field at a high level in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had pretty consistent communication with Auburn, Cincinnati, GA Tech, Vanderbilt, LA Tech, Princeton, UPenn and Jackson State in my recruiting process so far.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I have spent the most time communicating with coaches from GA Tech, University of Cincinnati, Jackson State and LA Tech.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've been to UGA, GA Tech, Auburn and Jackson State.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“Yes I do have plans for game day trips but I am not sure which weeks yet.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“In Elementary school, Deshaun Watson at Clemson was really my first experience rooting for a college team. I wouldn't say I have a favorite college team now, Clemson was my favorite early on.”
