What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“This off-season, I’ve enjoyed traveling and competing with my 7v7 teammates. I’ve also been lifting weights and training with my high school team. I have been throwing routes to my receivers and working on timing and accuracy.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I have improved significantly in my accuracy, and pre-snap reads. My coaches are helping me focus on the skills that can separate me from the competition, and I have been working to get better every day.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I am confident that Starr’s Mill has the elements in place to make a deep run in the playoffs again this year. We have a loaded offense and key returning players on defense. We just have to avoid injury as we progress through the season.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We are in a new Region this year, so I don’t know all the teams. However, I anticipate Central Carrollton will be one of our toughest games of the regular season. We played them last year, and it came down to the game’s final play. We came up with the win on a Hail Mary pass as time expired. I expect nothing short of a great game again this year.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“One of the toughest individual players we will face is Central Carrollton’s running back, Jonaz Walton. He caused problems for us last year in our third-round playoff victory. With another year under his belt, he’s sure to be a dangerous player. We’ll need to focus and put in the work to stop him.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Absolutely, I want to play football at the collegiate level. I aim to attend a school with superior academics, and a great coaching staff focused on player development. I want to go to a school that wants me and can use my skills to benefit the team.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’m receiving attention from several high academic schools. My recruitment has included the Ivies, Academies, and some other D1 schools.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The Naval Academy. The coaches have a vision of how I fit their offense and can play into their scheme.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have visited and competed at camps in Georgia this summer. I’ve also traveled to Navy, Cornell, UPenn, Princeton, and Brown, to name a few.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan to take official visits in the fall to experience the game day atmosphere.”

Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?
“I have attended many camps and mega camps this off-season. I have competed well and stood out in the events I’ve participated in. I had a great time at the Regional Elite 11 event in Las Vegas in April. I competed with some of the best quarterbacks on the West Coast and learned from some of the best QB coaches in the country.”

Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“I have a few more camps planned this summer. I am attending the Manning Passing Academy at the end of June. I had a great time there last year, and I know I’ll take home a lot of knowledge and skills.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was Mississippi State. My father is an alum. I’ve been attending games and ringing a cowbell for as long as I can remember.”
