How did the high school football season go overall?
“This year's season went great in [my] eyes. The season before we went 5-5 and to make a major turnaround going 10-3 and making it to the 3rd round meant a lot to the program, players and the school.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans this year [include] getting ready for my senior season, training and lifting, getting stronger and faster.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel we’re going to states next season. We have a lot of seniors that’ve been starting since their 9th and 10th grade year so we have a lot of experience and our chemistry with each other has gotten stronger. I feel a lot more players are locked in focused on our goal of winning the state championship.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel Colquitt will be our most challenging game because that game is going to test us with adversity, seeing who’s really a dawg and who wants it more. But I am more confident that we will put up a dog fight.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest individual player we have to face this year would be Kam Davis from Dougherty. He’s a playmaker, smart and can compete. After falling short to Dougherty 33-30 last year this game will be personal next season.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’m interested in playing quarterback in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been getting interest from colleges like Mercer, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, etc.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Mercer has been recruiting me hard by loving, blessing me with invites to check the school and program.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“So far I visited Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Mercer, Miami Ohio, and University of North Carolina.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“For right now I will be visiting Mercer in April and a few more colleges later on this summer.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up my favorite college football team was Alabama because [of] how dominant and talented their program has been throughout the years.”
