How did the high school football season go overall?

How do you feel your team will do next football season?

I feel a lot more players are locked in focused on our goal of winning the state championship.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel as if we as a team put in the right work and focus on our goals and the right things. We can make it farther than last season and I believe we can come for the region in the upcoming season. It all comes down to us working together and listening to our coaches, also learning from mistakes and not getting frustrated at the little things.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Rome Wolves will be our toughest competition coming into the season. Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?

Q&A with Fellowship Christian School wide receiver Josh Milhollin
How did the high school football season go overall?
“This past season was my favorite football season I’ve ever played. With an unexpected start on a couple losses, we quickly realized that we needed to start playing as a team. After the first few games, everyone started to want to lead the team and really become successful. When this happened, we started playing way better and winning games.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Personally, I’m still in the playoffs for soccer, but I’ve still been working to improve my speed and weight. Every week I go to a field and train my speed and agility. I've noticed a huge improvement from the end of the season to now, and I’m still going up.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think our football team will be just as good and if not, better than last season. Although we lost several important seniors, the team has adapted quickly and the weight room feels more connected than it ever has felt.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Looking at our schedule for next season, I think Lovett might be our toughest competition. They are always extremely well coached and very physical.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I think that Jaiden Jenkins, the quarterback for Saint Francis, could be one of our toughest players we’re gonna play against this season. I know a lot of people left St. Francis after last season so I’m not 100% sure if he’s still there.”

Q&A with Arabia Mountain defensive back Jordan Miller

How did the high school football season go overall?
“The high school football season overall went decent, but we left a lot on the table. Our team was young and were just getting the opportunity to play on the varsity football level. Personally, I had a good junior season how I needed to and ended up earning first team all-region, player of the year, and several all-star game invitations. I impacted each game on all three levels (offense, defense, and special teams) and led my team in receiving yards.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans with sports and workouts are to get faster and put on some muscle mass. I am currently running track and attending football workouts early in the morning to get more explosive. This track season I’ve been competing at a high level in mainly triple jump, but I also compete in long jump, 300m hurdles, and a couple relays such as 4x1 and 4x2. The morning workouts are intense led by my phenomenal Coach Washington! The goal is to try to get the team on one accord and one mindset for the upcoming season. If everyone chimes in together, watch out for Arabia Mountain.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“This upcoming season I believe that my football team will play to our standard! This is the year that we finally put the pieces together, the playmakers make plays, everybody does their job, nobody is selfish, and we all are playing fast and physically at a high level.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Personally, I believe our toughest opponent will be our somewhat “rival” Stephenson Jaguars. I say them because they have a solid foundation up front with their O-line. Last year, we came up short against them and beat ourselves once again with little mistakes such as holding that calls back a touchdown or on 4th and 15th we allowed a 30+ yard gain on a screen.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
