Q&A with Denmark athlete Kamden Jennings

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“So far this season things have been going pretty good as of the beginning in spring especially since we got a new OC so our offense is getting better and more comfortable with him and the offense. Defensively things have been going great. We have lots of young talent at all the defensive positions and I feel that we could have a really good chance at shutting down some offenses this season.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I am never pleased with how I perform. Whether I play good or bad there is always something that can be fixed. I never like to settle with any “good” preference knowing that there’s always something better I can do, and I try and work on it next week in practice.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“I feel like our team has played pretty good in some aspects. We are still finding out how each other plays. I can say we all hold each other accountable for anything that goes on on and off the field. So we have definitely built a brotherhood among the program. But we do play as one and if something is not right in the game there’s always someone to help out on the field to make sure everything goes smoothly.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I feel that we could work on being more consistent. I feel that we sometimes play like a roller coaster. Sometimes we’re up and down when a lot of play gets blown, then we take a couple plays to get back up. So I feel that we just have to focus on the next play and get the last play out and get the energy back on track throughout the whole game.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys to being successful for us this year would be to play our game. We will be young this year but we have lost skill and talent on the offense and defense. I think we just have to focus on us and not who is across the ball. Whether they’re a 4 or 5 star and to just compete and have the mentality that you will win against anyone.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to play football in college and run track (if it’s even possible). I just have a love for both of them and want to be able to compete in both for as long as I possibly can.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t had many eyes that I know of. I know I had some eyes from Georgia Tech and Texas. But not many colleges to my knowledge have been following me.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“N/A.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made some college tours. I’ve been to Virginia, Duke, Wake forest, Richmond College, and App State.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“At the current moment I don’t have any plans for game trips.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up and still I’ve been a Florida State fan. I remember watching Delvin cook, Derwin James, and Jalen Ramsay highlights in my free time and before my little league games and watched how they play the game and try to mimic that on the field.”

Q&A with East Jackson cornerback Omarion Tuggle

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Our season is going to be very fun, we just played Jackson County last night in our first scrimmage and based on our effort and energy, our season should be one for the books.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I currently didn’t get to play in our scrimmage last night because of not getting cleared in time, but I’m back next week and would be looking forward to having a blast this season on the field.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“My team played very well last night in our scrimmage, looking good on both ends of the ball, but our defense is looking outstanding.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Our team can improve on a couple things, like on the offensive end getting our blocks down and on the defensive end we need to communicate a little better.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys to our success this year is just playing as a whole, playing as a brotherhood.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“If I get an offer in football I’ll love to go to college no matter what school it is.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No colleges have been recruiting me yet, but I’m hoping they’ll come.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“None.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“None.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“No I can’t really say I do.”

“The keys to our success this year is just playing as a whole, playing as a brotherhood.”

......................................................................................................

Whether they’re a 4 or 5 star and to just compete and have the mentality that you will win against anyone.”

......................................................................................................
Q&A with Gainesville edge rusher Kadin Fossung
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Football season has been going well so far. The team has been working very hard.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“There is always room for improvement. I have to keep improving myself.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“My team has played exceptionally well. Everybody comes in and works hard.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“N/A.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“N/A.”

......................................................................................................
Q&A with Flowery Branch tight end Ethan Fetterman
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“The season has been going good. I am excited that I will be playing both sides of the ball this year. TE has been my position the last 3 years, but this year I will also start at DE.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I have been working on my blocking and route running to get separation. At DE, I have had two good games in our spring game against White Country and our scrimmage against North Hall.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“The team has played really well on both sides of the ball. With our 1&2 in, we have exacted well. We have a lot of key returning players and game experience.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“After last year, we had a lot of slow starts and had to battle back coming up short In some games. This year I think we have an explosive offense that can strike quickly. At the scrimmage, we scored on an 80-yard run on the first play.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Injuries. I think we had 5 ACL injuries taking out some good players. Then several others who missed several games for other injuries. I think at one point we had 7 or 8 starts out at one time. We have worked hard on conditioning this year.”

......................................................................................................
Q&A with Putnam County running back Rashod Daniel
How has everything with the football season been going so far in the preseason?
“Everything has been going good, getting better day by day.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I feel as if I could play better and I need to become a better leader for my team (I’m never satisfied).”

How do you feel your team has played?
“As a team we have a lot to work on including myself but it’s a new system so I feel as if we can be really special when we all buy in.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“The #1 thing I think us as a team can improve on is probably believing in ourselves, believing in the coaches and not doubting ourselves.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys to us being successful going forward would be buying into our coaches' game plans and sacrificing more.”
