What have you been doing as of late with off season workouts?
“We have been putting in the work in the weight room. We go hard. We have also participated in a few 7v7 events.”

What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“Quickly understanding what to do with the ball both before and after the snap.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel like we are going to make a deep run. We have a good team and some younger guys are stepping up.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Calhoun is a tough matchup for us most years. Allatoona gave us a game last year so it will be interesting how that plays out. Hiram has some nice athletes and figures to be good this year.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Caden Williams, the RB from Calhoun, is a good player. Tough runner. We got to figure out how to stop him.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“No doubt, I would love to play both football and baseball. I don’t think that’s realistic but I love both sports. I would say football if I had to choose.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There were lots of schools that I had nice conversations with in the spring. Wake Forest came to see me at practice and had me up for camp. They stick out so far but I talked to many schools that are saying we like how you look.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say Wake Forest so far.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes sir, UGA, Clemson, Tennessee, Wake, UAB.”

Do you have plans for more trips?
“I’ll visit some schools for games in the fall. Other than that, our plan is to put some really good film up in the fall, win a lot of games and then worry about college after our season is done.”

Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?
“UGA, Clemson, Tennessee, and Wake all had me for one day camps. I felt like they went well. I threw well and made some nice throws in the completions so I would say I felt good about what I did at the camps.”

Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“No more this summer. I want to focus on what the team is doing and how I can help Cartersville win. It’s time to lock in.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Go Dawgs!”
