What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“This summer I aimed to get my body ready to take on a lot of carries and step into more of a leadership role on the team. Mostly been working on my football knowledge, pass catching, and speed.”
What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I’ve improved most with my speed as my route running/ pass catching.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think we’ll end up winning the championship, because that’s always the goal but this year we have the talent in all places to do it.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest team will no doubt be the first St. Frances Academy. The best thing about the game is it doesn’t define us as a team because of how early it is.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest player to go against on our team for me is definitely Eddrick Houston. There isn’t anyone, in my opinion, in the state that can block him.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Of course, playing football in college has always been a dream of mine since I was little.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of now the ones after me the hardest are Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee, and NC State.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I mean they all have their different ways of letting me know I’m a priority guy so it’s kind of hard to tell.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been to all the schools I’ve mentioned already including Penn State, Florida, Duke, and Georgia Tech.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan to get back to NC State late July and I’ll try to make it to some of the games this season, but I don’t know exactly which ones.”
Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?
“I haven’t been to a summer camp since 8th grade.”
Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“None.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I never had a favorite team but I loved just watching the game and learning about the game especially through college football.”
