How did the high school football season go overall?
“The previous season didn’t go as well as we would have hoped but we showed [the] ability to do well, this coming season we’ll fully tap into that potential.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Me personally, I just want to continue to better myself in the weight room and field work wise. I’ve recently added yoga and Pilates into my routine to ensure I’ll be as nimble and agile as possible for my senior season.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We have way too many pieces to not make noise this season. I’m excited with what we have now and what’s coming. You can expect a long run from us this season.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Looking at the schedule, seeing big names like Langston draw attention, we know what they have been capable of in the past but we also know what we can do, but that’s a great competitor for sure.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“As a running back my mind always goes to the linebackers, with Stockbridge being back on our schedule, I’d be facing Chase (I don’t know his last name), a pretty big name in the county.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Of course, I would love to continue my football journey on the next level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“My recruitment has really just begun, I’ve reached out to some coaches but nothing official yet to hang my hat on.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Like I said, no school has displayed too much interest in me yet it’ll all be different this time next year.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have gone to a few HBCU games just as a spectator.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“Soon I will begin taking college trips with one of my trainers but not sure which schools will be on the list.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up I just favored whatever teams my family would root for, really whoever had a good running back. Georgia, when they had the combo backfield of Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, was a team I favored.”
