......................................................................................................

“Everything has been going good lately, we made it to the second round of playoffs and sadly lost.”

Going forward, what do you feel your team can continue to improve on?
“Our main improvement that we need to work on as a team is that we need to play as a team and we need to stop being selfish, and play for each other.”

Have you been pleased with your performances?
“I’ve been pleased with my performance this year, there is still a lot more that I need to improve on but overall I have been pleased.”

How do you feel about the play of your team?

Q&A with Woodward Academy linebacker Andrew Hines III
How did the high school football season go overall?

Q&A with Johns Creek quarterback Michael McClellan

How did the high school football season go overall?
“We just finished up our season and it was a rough one. We lost 30 seniors from our 9-3 season year and brought in an entirely new coaching staff, so we struggled this year playing a lot of ranked opponents. But I am proud of the team. The growth over the season was amazing and we went through a lot of adversity together.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My offseason plan is focused on continuing to improve my mechanics working with my trainer Sean McEvoy, getting stronger and faster through my workouts, and I also will be throwing discus for track as I set my school record last year and now, I plan to win division.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I am excited about next year – I have some great receivers coming back – Kyle Vaka and Taz Smith are ballers and we’re all back for our senior seasons.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We play in a loaded AAAAAA division in Georgia so we have to face teams like Roswell, Alpharetta, Blessed Trinity each year and they always come to play.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Not sure honestly.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes. I love the game and believe I have the talent and potential to play at a higher level. I am interested in any school that is interested in me. But I am going to keep working regardless. It will happen.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I get DMs and messages from lots of programs but it is hard to tell at this point how real any of it is honestly. I am hoping in the off season to get some relationships formed with some of the coaches of the programs I think I can make an impact with.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’m not sure if anyone is recruiting me hard yet. Most of it is coaches just trying to get to know me. It is a mixture of schools from the largest to smallest right now. Most programs don’t offer their QB position just yet it seems and I think they want to see me throw in person and get to camps.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes I’ve been on unofficial visits to UGA, Florida, Rice, and Columbia so far this year. I also camped this summer with Clemson, Wake Forest, and Duke.”

Q&A with Harrison quarterback Braylan Ford

How has everything with the football season been going so far?

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“My play was consistent and dependable no matter the defensive talent. I didn’t accomplish my personal goal of 3,000 passing yards & 30 TDs but finished with 2,229 yards and 22 TDs. “The marathon continues” as my Dad always says.”

“Our young team grew tremendously. I am proud of our resilience and never quit attitude. Our coaches continued to pour into us and we improved as the season went on. Our future is bright.”

“As a team we must improve on individual technique. I have challenged my teammates to work with personal skill coaches this offseason to build better muscle memory to collectively improve.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“In my opinion, the key to our success in the future is consistency in our skill fundamentals. Our coaches put us in the proper position but we must execute.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have received direct interest from Northwestern and North Dakota State. I am honored to be under consideration and will continue to work. I trust God’s plan and path for my life. I trust the process.”

Q&A with Blessed Trinity quarterback Brooks Goodman

How did the high school football season go overall?

Our talent will show now that we all have had the experience of this year, that even the move up to 6A won’t stop us from achieving greatness. I play with some of the best athletes in the country hands down and I believe we’re ready and will be a hard team to stop.”

“I was most recently on the field at the University of Florida vs South Carolina game, but have been to many campuses, camps and 7v7 tournaments. Growing up in California, my interests are definitely nationwide.”

......................................................................................................
Q&A with Harrison quarterback Braylan Ford
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“The season was filled with many highs and lows. But we stayed focused and never wavered. Despite starting 2-6, we rallied as a team and made the playoffs advancing to the sweet 16. I expect great things next year!”

How do you feel your team has played?
“Our young team grew tremendously. I am proud of our resilience and never quit attitude. Our coaches continued to pour into us and we improved as the season went on. Our future is bright.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“As a team we must improve on individual technique. I have challenged my teammates to work with personal skill coaches this offseason to build better muscle memory to collectively improve.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“In my opinion, the key to our success in the future is consistency in our skill fundamentals. Our coaches put us in the proper position but we must execute.”

......................................................................................................
