Q&A with Heard County athlete Bradford Hadley
How did the high school football season go overall?
“The overall season didn’t end in the record we wanted it to end in, but we learned a lot of things, especially being a young team, so from now on we’ll know how to respond to adversity and big game moments.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I plan to continue putting in work to become the best player I can for my team, for not only football but also basketball.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like our team will rise to the occasion of our new region, nothing is guaranteed this year so we’ll have to put in an extreme amount of work, and if we just work hard every day from now until the first game we’ll be one of the front runners of the region.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The two toughest teams we’ll play this year is one Bremen because they play very physically and tough regardless of who they’re up against. Lastly Bowdon because they’ve won back-to-back state championships which is a very hard thing to do and they’re filled with skilled positions so it’ll be an interesting game.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“This year we’ll have two tough individuals that we’ll have to face, one is a rising Sr. named Cj Gray. He's a kid that can score whenever he touches the ball. We did a very good job of stopping him last year so we’ll have to continue that. The last one is Kaiden Prothro, he’s 6 '6 and creates all types of mismatches for teams, he’s steadily grabbing D1 offers left and right.”
